Do the courts protect children?

THey try but the system is over burdened & flawed & each case & judge is different but over all they do try to do whats best for the child & makes both sides happy but agian foremost of course is the childs care & safety .... still nothing's perfect. The story you talk about the judge ruled in the abusers favor so something about the mother made it seem to the judge that she was lieing or still more a threat then the abuser.
