How much does a 20gb ps3 hold?

mine will only let me hold about 6gb and i have 2 users. what is takin up most of the space. i have oblivion with holds abut 4gb, asins creed with holds about 2gb, and mercs 2 wich holds about 2gb. it wont even let me hold all of them at once
