Theres a guy in my grade that I like thats shy.. i need help. Please.?

Well he's in my grade and his homeroom is right across from my homeroom, and our teacher kept the door open today so we could see right into the other rooms. Well anyway, I kept seeing this guy looking in our room, then i realized he was looking at me(i think...) I would notice him looking so I'd look up and he'd turn his head. He's also in my PE cl and he kind of does it then too, so I THINK he may like me. But how can you tell if a shy 8th grade boy likes you? What are the signs? And how can you make him talk to you? Thanks. Also, do yall think he likes me? Thank u again. :)
