If 98% of the world believes in a god or gods as the Christian fundies love to tell us...?

I think the reason they think the percentage is so high is because many non-religious people claim to be Protestant, Catholic, Jewish or whatever because that's how their parents or grandparents believed, and they just look at the term as their heritage, not really their belief system.
